C'mon folks, we've been wanting the federal government to stop the ridiculous practice of funding PBS for years. Now, there's a presidential candidate with the backbone to finally do it. Really, does anyone out there still watch 30 year old reruns of Masterpiece Theater or NOVA? Mitt Romney has vowed to cut funding to PBS and Big Bird. This will save millions of dollars which can be used to start chipping away at the deficit. It's finally time to say bye-bye birdie (Big Bird)!
